Wallet top-up limits
Payment methods and auto-recharge
- Only one payment method can be Active per workspace (used for auto-recharge).
- Manual top-up can charge any saved method that is not detached.
- Auto-recharge requires an active payment method.
- Deactivating or removing the last active method turns auto-recharge off.
- Detached or expired methods cannot be reactivated — add a new method.
- Monthly cap (optional) limits auto-charges per calendar month.
- Auto-recharge does not turn on only because you saved a card — you enable it (or Soundlink enables it when you add a first active method in some flows).
Paying at campaign creation
- New campaigns are wallet-first — there is no Stripe subscription checkout option on Review.
- Balance must cover 100% of the first cycle total (
daily budget × duration) before create succeeds. - If balance is short, top up from the Review step (add a backup payment method first if you have none).
- A backup card is not charged for the campaign create itself; it is for top-ups and renewal auto-recharge.
Campaign budget changes
Increase- Wallet campaigns only, active status
- Requires more than two days left in the cycle
- Minimum $1/day effective increase
- Next renewal only mode does not debit the wallet for the current cycle
- Wallet campaigns only, active status

- Minimum target daily budget in the app is $10/day
- Unused remaining-cycle budget is refunded to the wallet
- Modes: current cycle only, or current cycle and renewals
Stopping a wallet campaign
You can stop a wallet campaign when status is active or renew failed.- Soundlink pauses ads on connected platforms.
- Unused credits for the current cycle return to your wallet based on actual Meta spend.
- UI copy: refunds typically appear within a few minutes.
- Stop is blocked while status is creating or renewing — try again shortly.
Refunds are wallet credits only
When you stop a campaign early, unused budget for the current cycle is returned as Credit Wallet balance. As of June 16, 2026, monetary (cash) refunds for stopped campaigns are no longer available per Soundlink’s Terms & Conditions.End-of-campaign refunds
When a Meta campaign ends (natural end of cycle or lifecycle), Soundlink may refund unused net spend to your wallet if:- Campaign status is ended
- Platform is Meta
- No stop refund was already recorded for that campaign
- Calculated refund amount is greater than zero
Renew failed
Auto-renew toggle (wallet)
Editable while the campaign is active and the cycle end date is still in the future. Disabled when the campaign is stopped, ended, creating, renewing, or past the cycle end date — including most renew failed campaigns, where the due date has already passed and the toggle is no longer available in the app.Workspace plan (upgrade / downgrade)
- Plan tier changes Ad fees, which affects renewal debits and campaign budget math.
- Plan changes do not automatically credit or debit your wallet balance.
